Have a handful of receipts as previous owner of my GT used McLennans , would say they are very competitive , bear in mind you are always better using a specialist particularly a timing belt ....

They are definitely the best outfit that have worked on my Alfa's by a long way, worth the travel, next door to Costco and Ikea for time killing purposes if you have travelled.
A family run business with superb alfa knowledge. I have been a very regular visitor for 7 years and travel more than 140 miles round trip for their expertise. Highly recommended from someone who loves his Alfa a lot.
Thanks guys!
I emailed today mclennans to get a timing belt change quote. To be honest, I wasn't planning to keep the car after changing almost all the front suspension for the MOT, but because the car has only 60.000 miles(even though is a 1999 156) and it is a lovely car i decided to keep it and invest some money in it. this month was a bit tough with the MOT plus the tax that is due...but hopefully next month I will manage to change the timing belt. After that I want to change the wheels, brake discs and pads and try and get hold on a body kit(I would love one from a GTA )
fingers crossed for me
