So my Christmas got off to a bit of a bumpy start on Friday last week whilst shopping at Dobbies with my mother and some woman didn't pay any attention to me being behind her and slammed her car into the front end of the car. Her insurance has accepted liability and has given me a Courtesy Car (a nissan quishquai ... or however its spelt) which in all fairness by the way is an alright wee car ... love all the camera's but i supose as a car, its not got anything of excitement about it.
Anyway, after chatting with the insurance company, it seems they are going down the route of writing the car off due to the fact they cant get parts for it until around the 21st of January and this would mean renting me a car until then (around 4 1/2 weeks in total) @ 47.36 per day and then the cost of repair. As such, this would run up a huge bill that they say the car isn't worth (to them maybe).
So my question to you all is if you see any alfa's floating around, geez a shout.
My email is gavin.boyle@live.com
PS ... keep your eye out for women in car parks, apparently its natural to reverse with all your windows steamed up and with 2 under 5's in the back ... bravo to you mrs corolla driver ... bravo to you
