we won't be there this year as we are heading down to NAD - hope you get great weather and the event is as successful as it has been the past couple of years
Can anyone tell me if there are any meeting points for the Hopetoun event or should we just find our own way there? Sorry if I missed this info on another post, I have looked...honest!
Not sure who is actually attending the event - so far there isn't a post relating to meeting points so I think you had best make your own way there
Hope you have a good day - we're off to NAD at Ripon so won't be at Hopetoun this year.
Thanks David. We will endeavour to be there sharp. Not done this one before so we are looking forward to it and hope the weather is as good as it was at Tarvit.
hi everyone, I am one of the organisers of the SICBD. Looking forward to seeing you on the day!
In the meantime, just to let you know of a great competition we are now running in association with a top scottish detailer giving you the opportunity to win a free mini detail and paint correction for your car on the day of the event.
COMPETITION: Our friend Richard over RGK Detailing Car Detailing | Paintwork Correction | Edinburgh | Fife | Glasgow has a great prize for one lucky owner of an Italian Car/Bike. As part of his demonstrations at the event, the winner of the competition will receive a mini detail + have any paint defects removed from their vehicle. To qualify for the competition you need to have your vehicle at the event from 10am-3pm.
To enter, just reply to the post on our facebook page with your make and model of car/bike – easy!
The competition will close at 23.59 on Sunday 5th of August and the winner will be chosen at random the next day. If you have any questions about the competition please contact the detailer.
Easy for you to say, that is. I went in, had a look, couldn't work out how to reply to the post (ended up with my car details posted to my status, ), and came out again, . But then, I am a dinosaur when it come to all things computer,.
i was really looking forward to being able to make this, unfortunately haven't got the money to put tax on my Alfa so i will not be joining you guys . maybe next time.

I'll be coming from arbroath, probably be the usual meeting point of the bp garage south side of dundee for anyone coming from the north. 8.45 meeting time?
It really isn't a good weekend for a good turn out this year, with other events on like the National Alfa Day and Knockhill Scottish Car Racing.
Lots of folk on holidays at this time of year too.
I'll be there but not in my car, so hopefully some of the others will bring 2 as mentioned to make up for that.....
As long as the suns out and there is some interesting cars and bikes, it'll still be a good day!
