The Scottish Italian Car Day is going to be on the 27th May this year. Get your RSVP in so we can get an idea of numbers.

It's a change of venue this year as well, Hill of Tarvit House

http://www.nts.org.uk/Property/Hill-of-Tarvit-Mansionhouse-Garden/

Lets see all your polished Bellas out on display.

Below is a message re The Condition Awards for the day

Condition Awards at Scottish Italian Car Day
As mentioned in the April Newsletter, Condition Awards are to be re-introduced this year.

The Condition Awards will be organized and judged by Peter Farquhar, Dave Penna, Pietro Bisset and Graham Bruce. The intention is to keep the Condition Awards fairly informal and there will be no need to register in advance of the event. However, please do come along reasonably early as judging will take place between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm. Cars which arrive after 12.30 pm may not be included.

There will be awards for the usual age related groups of models and there will be a special award for the best “home restored” car – please bring along photographs to show the restoration.

There will also be a special award for Scottish Italian Car Day – best Alfa of the day.

To encourage owners of the Mito to take part there will be a special award for the best Mito and runner up.

Additionally, members of the Scottish Section will choose the best Alfa displaying an “Alfa Owner” sticker and members of Alfa Owner will choose the best Alfa displaying an “Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club” sticker.

There will also be a childrens’ choice.

As well as the awards, there will be prizes for some categories courtesy of Western Alfa Romeo, Perth.

Whilst there is no need to register in advance, if you would like to enter your car it would be helpful if you were able to PM Graham (Dinomito) with your name, address, mobile ‘phone number ( for contact on the day ) and full details of your car – model, version, year, colour and registration number. You may also include any additional information which you think may be of interest to the judges

Even closer to the Cupar meeting point this year then! :)

Not been in Tarvit house or grounds for a long long time, but pass it often.
Always fancied trying out the hickory golf club course!
I'm sure it'll be a great venue.

Ps, my works internet has changed and lets me on here again for the first time in years.....this wont be good for work! :D

The ones we've just got in are all 170 diesel in both Lusso and Veloce spec. About a second better from rest to national limit and 5mpg worse off. They're all 60 plate and will be among the cheapest used Giuliettas on the market.
MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde would be my pick of the range just now though, got 2 pre reg cars available.
Not to mention the pick of what 159's are left.

We'll talk more at SICD. :) feel I should change this year sometime really. What kind of money in the giulietta and MiTo approx?
What you bringing with you? How's things in Alfa land at mo? I seem to see a load about lately

Things are good at the moment, could always be better as well though. Giulietta's will be around £15/16k, MiTo QV's are around £18k but have a huge spec.

I'll probably be taking The Beast to SICD but Western will have a display of vehicles also.
