Was at CM Garage tonight with my 156 getting a CV gator clip replaced, and while there, he had another Gabbiano blue 156 GTA saloon with multispoke wheels in for a MOT and a red 147 GTA in for a clutch. It was dark and lashing down so no photos I'm afraid !
Big thanks to Chick's tech for sorting on the spot (esp as I thought it was the CV joint).
Thanks Steve. Yeah its been up there a few times this year, spent a pretty penny, timing belts, water pump, new radiator, one cv joint replaced, air con pipes, an oil cooler pipe, all cv gators, oil & filters etc. Thought another cv joint was away last week but it was just the clip had come loose on the boot, so a result for a change.
WG moved office about 4 weeks ago to Strathclyde Business Park in Bellshill. Bit further to travel but makes it easier to get to Chick's
I do some of their building services engineering, FM consulting and estates etc. are in iQ had a quick tour there a couple of weeks ago.
