Hey folks! Setting up a little road trip this coming Sunday. We'll be meeting at 11.30am in front of the Gala Riverboat Casino near Glasgow City Centre (postcode G1 4RJ). Leaving at 11.45, we'll take the M8 heading through Port Glasgow and Greenock. Crossing over to the A78 coast road down through Weymss Bay and Largs, then a small drive through Prestwick and Ayr town ending up at the promenade or somewhere in Ayr for a light refreshment. On the way back we can take the M77 from Prestwick right back up to Glasgow. Any other suggestions of places to stop are welcome. Hope you can join us! :)

I forgot I'm working 8-12 on Sunday morn:cry: so I'll take a change of clothes with me and still meet you in the car park since it'll take a whole 2 secs to move from the staff car park to the customer one lol.

I'm a total idiot for forgetting hahaha.

Great picture David - you certainly had a great day for it.

Your camera sensor's manky and needs a good clean. Let me know if you need any cleaning tips. Main tip - try a blower first (NOT canned air). If that doesnt work you need some sensor swabs, which you can buy online. Alternatively, take it to your nearest camera shop and get them to charge you £30 for a 5 minute job.

Hahaha good job you didn't see mine in the flesh then Lesley, mines needs a good clean inside and out!

Anyway, was a really great day with good weather and nice cars! Got a few looks driving through Largs etc lol. Can't wait for the next where I'll make sure I'm not in working at the crack of dawn lol.

Nice pics, a great spot and a great day for a run, will certainly join you all over that way soon.
Been years since I've been to Largs...... that was in an Alfa GTV convoy!

Hopefully there will be a another run down this way that you can join Phillip. Good fun especially with me overdosing on caffeine since I had been up at the crack of dawn for work hahaha.

I've got a few pics that I'll try and put up today for you all.

Looked good folks. Shame I missed it but will try to make a future run.

Just reminded me though that there was a very nice cream 147 GTA that I've seen parked a few times outside Nardini's ice cream place on the seafront down there (with GTA on its plate).

Anyone on here?

That'll be Alfaclods pearl white GTA, its his place we went to with a group of GTVs a few years back for an Ice cream, parked up by the water right infront of the shop.
He had a nice AutoLusso Spider in those days!
