TBH, the only reason there is a north and south is because it was just too big for a couple of Jocks to do it justice. As far as landmass is concerned there's not that much difference between the Land of the Brave and Nancyland :lol:
Unless you look at a BBC weathermap, which shrinks said Land of the Brave to about 2/3rds its actual size.
I still don't understand Bazza's concern thought. This lounge covers the southern part of Scotland (including D&G and the Borders) as opposed to the part, so it's perfectly aptly named.
Ahhh.....the irony of slating the North-South divide of a whole country when 'Congleton....centre of' is used instead of just saying 'Cheshire' for example, or 'North of Stoke' or indeed 'East of Mangoletsi'
On this premise, I vote we start calling the English lounges as one......or what about "Slightly more south with inferior landscape and humour " or even "A lot more south and consistently sinking"
There are a few of us south of north, but north of south
It's actually a very nice place to be
