It's occurred to me that Scotland should be split into:

North Scotland

and

Slightly less North, but still really freaking North compared to most things Scotland.

You mean SLNBSRFNCTMTE and SLNBSRFNCTMTW surely Keith?

You sasanachs have told us what to do long enough :flag: Noo beat it :cheek:

TBH, the only reason there is a north and south is because it was just too big for a couple of Jocks to do it justice. As far as landmass is concerned there's not that much difference between the Land of the Brave and Nancyland

Unless you look at a BBC weathermap, which shrinks said Land of the Brave to about 2/3rds its actual size.

I still don't understand Bazza's concern thought. This lounge covers the southern part of Scotland (including D&G and the Borders) as opposed to the part, so it's perfectly aptly named.

Ahhh.....the irony of slating the North-South divide of a whole country when 'Congleton....centre of' is used instead of just saying 'Cheshire' for example, or 'North of Stoke' or indeed 'East of Mangoletsi' ;)

On this premise, I vote we start calling the English lounges as one......or what about "Slightly more south with inferior landscape and humour " or even "A lot more south and consistently sinking" :p

I'll allow you to lump together England as "Place where the midges aren't". :p

And the Congleton thing made perfect sense until the forum changed and it got truncated.
It has remained there as a protest.

It used to say Civilisation. I think. It was a long time ago!

Wish I'd been meaner about Scotland now. :p
