Before you're too hasty, try and borrow a car seat and have a go at putting it in the back. I've managed to get a maxi cosi universal one in the back of my S. Once in, it fits fine and still allows a reasonable amount of leg room in the front. Just pull the seat right forward before lifting it in. The boot is also pretty big......

thats my valuation mate it owes me £7000. when i bought the car it had been bumped at the front. Bonnet, passenger wing front panel, but here Is the catch, the airbags had deployed and the price at the time to source them new, nearly £5000 for the new dash and three airbags and all the stuff that this entails, not to mention the cost off other stuff and paintwork, then the dreaded labour charges so insurance decided it was uneconomical to repair. (Too much hassle) and it was auctioned of with full history and 39000 miles on the clock it was the only way I could afford a £25000 car so a project it became. I was lucky in that i managed to source all the panels, bumper, radiator etc from a guy in London Eddie at Alfaman services, when I found out the panels were all in silver i set out in an 18d escort van in the early hours to pick up the lot. Didnt plan on it being the weekend of the Leeds festival M6 nearly lost my will to live on the way home.Anyway about a fortnight later after some searching I turned up a guy who was breaking another brera done me a deal for everything needed to replace all the airbags. The catch was another trip to London, well worth it though turns out the car they were breaking was one of 12 breras Alfa gave to Prodrive to develop the Brera S. It was number 11, a red v6 and it had never turned a wheel on the road, when Prodrive were finished with it, get this, they paid this guy to take it and break it, some guys get all the luck, anyway Prodrive just stripped all there parts, shocks , callipers, exhaust, gearbox internals etc, crated the v6 and told this guy to get rid. so i got the dash and loads of other wee goodies needed to complete the repairs. I am on first name terms with the parts guys at Arnold Clarck in Springburn road as well. But i have now been driving it for almost 2 years now but as the missus doesn't drive and we have three kids now it has to go, most unfortunately.

managed to pick up all the brackets, fog light wiring harness and bits of trin etc to finish it. remember the car i got the stuff off wasnt an S it was just a red v6 brera that alfa gave to prodrive to develop the brera S. so prodrive had removed all the parts they developed before it got broke. my car was classified as category D , uneconomical to repair, if you were buying all new parts from Alfa and paying a garage to repair it, i do have all the cars history and loads of pics from when i was repairing it, i have a folder full of reciepts for any new stuff i bought for it
