I might go down if I can get the weekend off Ricky. I watched the Silverstone round on tv on my day off and I must admit I was surprised at the amount of action over the 3 races. I've not watched the btcc for years. I did notice that Jason Plato is still a moaning old wifey when things don't go his way.
it is a good day out, lots of racing to keep you interested between the Touring Cars. I have not been since 2007 when I got Colin McRaes autograph.
I wont make this year though, family gathering...................
Thanks for link. I got a weekend ticket for me and will buy a weekend ticket for my son when I get up there tomorrow. I am planning on going tomorrow afternoon and Sunday.
I made it along today as well. Racing was great expecially down by Leslie's corner - lots of action.
Good to see StescoG66 yesterday. I didn't recognise you yesterday Ricky though, maybe we haven't met at any of the events. We should all get an alfaowner.com fleeces so we know who we all are!
Caught the last 2 races of the day on TV. The Porche race was interesting for the first few laps, they just could not stay on with that oil spill. Plato was lucky in the last few laps!
I had my red Alfa cap on to keep the sun at bay![/QUOTE]
Missed that - I'll be more observant next time
