Minty Green Sportwagon

Well I've up since 5 30am (usual time) but today is a little special as i hope to collect my 156 sw this afternoon wooohoooo oh and i bagged insurance with elephant @ £300 for fully comp with no noclaims as i use it elsewhere.

Sat here thinking of the Alfa's I've had the pleasure of owning down the many years of motoring so they are....

156 1.8 ts sw (collecting today)
166 2.5 v6
155 1.8 ts
164 leaf 12v in black
164 leaf 12v in red
33 1.7 sw
1750 gtv bertie (sadly a non runner)
Alfetta gtv 1.6
Alfasud 1.2 ti (the one i learned to drive in)

I think if i had to choose based on fun it would be the 33, man that car was crazy hehe my first realisation of torque steer

So at some point later I'll post some images of the Minty SW, I warn you now the interior is well ummmmm you'll see

After the last 16 months in the BMW I now feel as though I've dived right into a 156 bc (bouncy castle) but you know what it feels great, once I've done my valet and made it my own I will be even happier than I am now.

What a difference a day makes

Started off early.... used Autoglym Fallout to get rid of the years of grim, followed up with a wash with Autoglm Shampoo, dried her off and threw on some Mer, followed that up with a coat of Autoglym Paint Sealer, I must admit she's looking pretty nice for a 7 - 8 yr old car. I even gave the engine bay a little clean out.

As you'll see in the pics, the car was not the only thing to be made over my sons helped me out doing a little bit of a make over in the back/side garden, ready for some excavation in order to lay a concrete slab for my garage, the one where Bertie will be housed when i get around to finding him.
