MGS in Purley have a good reputation for Alfas and wrote in Autoitalia magazine recently.

Depends what sort of job you want.

If you just want a SMART Repair, Revive done me proud a couple of years ago. Should be less than £100 with them.

There is place around the corner from where you work but I can't remember the name of it now. Very good standard but the price is a premium too. Approx £500 for the rear quarter.

You could speak to Chris at Proalfa. They use an Alfa Romeo restoration specialist and can organise the repair for you. I have no idea of price though.

Anjenha,

There is a guy on here, Kevin, Kandrewsntl, who is hot on repairs. I've got him down to do some work on mine soon. I'm sure he'll do you a good deal and he is only in Elstree

Hi
I've not used these people but they've been recommended, quoting £250 to paint a 166 bonnet. Grove Car Body Repairs Ltd 01235768771, 3 Station Yard, Station Road, WANTAGE, OX12 0DH. They are opposite the Williams F1 team base and paint their cars...... ?!
Good luck

Hi angenha,we are the other guys with the red spider you met at brooklands,i'd try and find a sprayer who spezializes in standox paint matching,as alfa red is made by standox and this would be the best way to get a match.I'd try and look in yell .com and ring around a few local garages to see if they can match the paint colour number of your spider,i think its the same as ours (130 red)ask them if they use spraybake ovens too as this usually gives the best finish, good luck getting it sorted though!
