Re: The Next Tunnel Run!
If I'm back on the road then yes. I like the sound of Sat or Sun morning although 5.30 is a bit harsh, 6 maybe be better, would still be clear at that time especially on a Sunday

Re: The Next Tunnel Run!
hmmm, I have to work both the Saturday and Sunday, but could probably make an early Sunday start, as long as I am back home by 7am.
But majority rules, and if that's not do-able, then I will more than likely have to miss this one.

Re: The Next Tunnel Run!
Hmm although the idea of a dawn run is pretty cool, I'm not sure I would actually bother getting out of bed
Been wondering when the next run would be though as I've had a bit of an itch for one. Those dates are OK for me as I have a deadline on the Friday so would deserve some fun

Re: The Next Tunnel Run!
As I'm a "tunnel virgin" I'll be up for the Sunday morning. As I'm on night shift Saturday I can come straight from work. As I work opposite Waterloo I'm central. That's the station, not the battle!!!!

Re: The Next Tunnel Run!
All the tunnels?! that will take some time I tired a bit on the rotherhithe but its a bit narrow for the fat boy 166..
Dare i say it... but i used to love to nail the old BM under the marble arch underpass... It was a good few years ago before i saw the light.. Mind you my most recent saab 900 classic aero made the most wonderous noise under vauxhall bridge at the red line... Okay i'm talking myself into it.. but a 5am start... ?!

Even if I don't have my bits fitted i'll have the manifold sorted by then so it won't sound like a tank

I could be tempted along to this - always liked the idea of the tunnel run. Has there been a decision on date yet?
