Re: berkshire

The first weekend in December is fine. Perhaps we can have a look at a long term weather forecast, if there is such a thing, in case we get a day like today.

Re: berkshire

If it's icy enough we could try some impromptou ice racing provided we can find a big enough car park

You would be more than welcome, still wanting other idea's for a location away from the Crimbo shoppers traffic etc so if you have any idea's please post them.

I'm having a think about that one, I can think of a few but it's do you want a place with lot's of screaming brat's or a spit & saw dust joint.
A few member's have shown interest in the water ski club, that has a bar and snack's etc.
If anyone can come up with a place please put it forward, also what time this Sunday ?

Re: berkshire

Lots of big pubs up on the A4 between slough and reading. Never been in any of them though. Maybe Jeff T Knows some round Twyford?
Windsor is good but would be tough on parking, Especially on a sunday.

Re: berkshire

What about The Royal Foresters in Ascot? It's a Beefeaters pub/restaurant along A329/London Road.
