Hi Guys, I have just aquired a 1.9 159. There have been no factory changes. If I were to attend one of these meets for remapping, how much could I expect the bhp to increase by ?. Apologise for ignorance. PB

Re: Remap and Rolling Road Day II @ RED DOT

will they do an early 2003 156 2.0 JTS? As I've been told by Angel that they have problems remaping the early JTS engines?

Re: Remap and Rolling Road Day II @ RED DOT

As I believe Augusto supplies and fits GSR intakes, I'll have one of them as well before my re-map.

I reserve the right to back out if my exhaust hasn't been done by then though. Although it should be!

And it's the day after my birthday. Nice present!

Can they do 1998 156 V6's? I hear somewhere that the early model 156's can't be remapped,

Re: Remap and Rolling Road Day II @ RED DOT

Angel don't remap pre 99 models.

Red Dot can.

yes they can do the V6.

I'm not sure if Celtic can do them?

Re: Remap and Rolling Road Day II @ RED DOT

Wooo! Nice one Joey for sorting us out another one. I'll definitely come along for a rolling road and let's face it I'll probably end up getting a remap too. No issue of £70 fuel getting there this time either as I'll be in Uxbridge

....via the diagnostics port. Which is correct. Red Dot remove the ECU from the car and plug it into their computer directly to load a new map onto it. Angel don't do this, they just focus on newer cars that can be remapped via the diagnostics port. Celtic don't either to my knowledge, but I don't know that for sure.

Last time I spoke to Augusto about this ECU (Bosch ME2.1 I think..) he reckon'd 200bhp from a 2.5 V6
