Re: Round 7 Alfa Racer Championship Brands Hatch

If you are coming and you get to Brands and can't find the Alfa Championship cars!! - it's because the Alfa's have use of the pit garages for this race.

I'm fairly sure there will be no charge etc to come across to the pits - you can do this through the vehicle tunnels from the paddock (under the top of paddock hill bend) or through the pedestrian tunnel that is opposite the control tower - right under the start line.

Come and visit the cars using the road along the back of the pit lane - don't actually walk through the pit lane. Oh - and I think the actual pit lane and inside the garages is restricted to people over 16 only. The area behind the pit garages isn't though - but be careful as there will be cars constantly coming through for other races to go to the assembley area.

Re: Round 7 Alfa Racer Championship Brands Hatch

At this type of meeting anyone can normally get through to the pit area. It's just the actual pit lane that you should avoid. For the past few years we (competitors) haven't been issued with any sort of special pass/tickets for us and our team etc -other than the passes required for our vehicles.

It's very different for big meetings like WTCC or BTCC.

Re: Round 7 Alfa Racer Championship Brands Hatch

The missis's place is only up the road in Dartford and we offend use a short cut out to the M25 that goes past Brands, so I think I might tag along to this one

Look forward to seeing times posted for this event
