Hi John - probably both! Unlike the Classic London to Brighton I won't have a navigator with me, so turn-by-turn information may be of limited use (this isn't a straightforward motorway blast after all) and I don't want to hold anyone up if I lose sight of the group.
Its times like this when I wish I'd got an intercom/radio installed, for that full Red Arrows vibe - "left, left, left" etc.
I reckon I could modify one of those short-range radios to do the job (the hiking/contractor jobbies), but not by the weekend. Plus, you need someone on the other end of the line that knows where they are going
By the way, does this route go over three sets of speed bumps (the first two with bus-lane "troughs") coming off Epsom Downs? The speed limit posted is 40 mph and we hit them rather hard on the L2B. Took all the paint off my nosecone and buckled the aluminium supports, but at least I finished the course. An AC Cobra lost its sump and had to retire...
Still hoping to be there!
