Me and Baby were going to be at Newport Pagnell at 8 as arranged before. Not sure who else will be there then

Incidentally given the current cost of fuel and the cleanliness of my car, I plan to drive up the motorway at between 65 and 70mph tomorrow

I'll get there for 8 in case anyone hasn't read this and let them know and they can decide whether they want to hang around till 9 then we can set off at 9.30 to rendez vous with the northern guys

We will be there for 8 and take it from there

Who reckons they'll be going at 8 then? I quite fancy arriving en masse with the Northern lot so will probably head for 9, but obviously it'd be better to have a larger convoy and all that...

I fancy meeting up with the northern guys, there's about 20+ cars coming down so will be a large group to go in with I might convoy up at 8.30 with the others and then head over to the travelodge to meet up and then get the best of both worlds.. not that i'm indecisive I'll be there at 8 anyway and then take it from there

it would be good if you southern lads & lasses could meet us at the travelodge @ 10.30. it's the only way we're guaranteed to all get parked up together - go in convoy

I should be at the Pag for 8.00 - 8.30 as ive just checked this thread and too late to change my mates plans - no probs thou maybe grab some breakkie, see some of you there hopefully lol

Right then if we're aiming to set off at half 9 to meet the Northern lot then I reckon I'll aim to be at the services 8:30-9 so I too can get some breakfast... OK second breakfast, whatever...

This is getting confusing

I've set my alarm for 7, so I'll be there between 8 and 8-30 assuming it doesn't take me too long to find a petrol station en route

We should have had some sort of national thread so we could all co-ordinate our meeting times etc etc - classic case for the need for a 'National Events' forum Ian! Unfortunately this one seems to have been a bit of a hodge podge in terms of organisation.

That said - Newport Pagnell at 9 would suit me better as it means I get another hour in bed (and I'm knackered after spending 5 hours polishing various bits of my car today).

Will the message get out in time to everyone though? How many people are we expecting at the services?

The Region Reps work pretty hard to get stuff like this together

Lutterworth Travel lodge is the meeting point for North and South we're hoping to have 15 AOer's from the North there @ 10:30.

Sorry HM - didn't mean to cause offence. It just kind of feels like this one's been up in the air a bit - Spring Alfa Day at Chatham was all pretty well planned and went off very smoothly, we weren't deciding what time to meet at 11 the night before Think we've had a bit of apathy from the Southerners for this one - I guess because of the distance? That said I haven't been keeping on top of it, the whole thing has crept up on me a bit as I've been away for a week!

Looks like it should all go down smoothly after all though, see you guys at Newport Pagnell and the Travelodge in the morning

Oh yeah, and since nobody seemed to hear me at the last one.... shotgun not leading the convoy!
