Need Tracking Checked

Hi All,

Just had the fronts replaced on the Ti again as they had worn to the square root of bugger all from the middle to the inside edges.

Thankfully I don't have to pay for them, but the lease company do not and will not pay for the tracking to be checked.

This is the second set in 2years of ownership at around 18 - 20,000 miles per set (rears lasted 35k and were evenly worn).

I have no option but to use Kwik Fit to get the tyres from but they cannot / will not check the tracking due to the fact that (a) their equipment will not fit these wheels! & (b) it is so out of date they will not offer it on 'new' cars - Nope I could not believe this either !

Does anyone know anywhere I can go to to get this done - I live near Farnham, but travel around a fair bit so can always call in somewhere.

if u come down portsmouth way, try Cheap Tyres Online | UK Car Tyres Shop: Buy Michelin, Pirelli, Continental , but i would call then just to check 1st if they do it

Wheels in Motion in Chesham did a geometry on my GTV.

If you are up Newbury way.. Try Tyre Barn they are great and only £17.50 for a full laser alignment..

Hi All,

Just come back from Merrow Tyres in Farnham and they given it the full once over and 'corrected a huge amount of to-in back to their recommendation which is a little off parallel & with these new fronts it feels like a new car.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough if any body else is local.
