AOSE/SC run to Ireland........

Hi all, i have been pondering a run to ireland for all of us Beds/Bucks/NHerts/Oxfordshire Alfaowners. not over the water, but here

i just wanted to gauge some interest before i finalise a route, and see if there are any suggestions for roads to include, and/or venues. there is a cracking gastro pub - the black horse - which i have eaten at in the past, but may be a bit pricey for our tastes? any other suggestions would be more than welcome

i will collect any suggestions together and then post some possible dates/times, with a finalised route and meeting points to follow.
so come on all you north SE/SC peoples, let me have your thoughts......

Come on over lads.... Some great driving roads here in the north west, plenty of good hotels, excellent pubs and food. The Clarion Hotel is a popular spot in Sligo for various meets. Twice used as base for the WRC Rally in recent years. PM me for any help/details.

well spotted dude. it is actually Ireland, Bedfordshire, not the island just to the left of us

although i would love to do a run over to see you in the future Ciaran

I nearly didn't read this because I assumed it was the over the water place! I'd be interested, although it may be a while until I've got the GTA on the road again. Can't help on the pub front although a gastro pub sounds good to me....
