Hi guys...I thought I'd start this thread so that we don't end up messing up other guys' threads & the For Sale thread.
Remember the 147 GTA for R79k...well I'm close to getting my asking price...I just need to give it some time.
But...will my wife allow it? As you know I have a soft spot for a 147 GTA, this will be a project car with money that I don't know where I'm going to get - thinking of selling the Punto anyway as we don't really need 3 cars...:cheese:
if anyone is interested please save me from this...
If I had parking space, no kids and didn't get the GTV, I would get this GTA. It doesn't have a GTV's presence nor do I think that these cars will be perceived as classics in future by anyone other than Alfisti, but it's not a bad performance proposition at all. I'd try to get it at R65k and spend some money on the mechanical things first. Then the paint and interior. The great thing for buyers about Busso-equipped cars is that boys trying to use them as dailies will have their budgets pummelled into submission by their thirsts. Great for the natural order of things.
Buy eet!!! I was referring to boys who can't use them as dailies, bra. Boys with Toyota or Citi Golf budgets, not a man with a Sasol line connected to the garage tap!
Who can get detail on how to get that steering wheel, or an aftermarket steering wheel onto my GTV? I see Autostyle has a special on MOMO steering wheels, very nice for R600 a pop. But I need a BOSS kit to fit the GTV.
I'd say that 145 is atleast or at most worth R75k...remember what Ian said. We complain about no value in AR but then we won't pay good or decent money for a car that you can clearly see was hella well looked after!
That 145 just needs to be decked on those 17's it will work very well...offer R70-75k.
I know the seller of this car. He has a few Alfa's including a 156 GTA with a upgraded motor. The Brera is mint, too bad the interior is so ugly :vomit: Lance buy a used steering wheel and get it trimmed in alcantara for R700
This may perhaps be a tad overpriced for some people (especially if it needs a cambelt), but it does look like a totally unmolested example of a 147 GTA.
The only things I notice in the pics are that the rear badge is (possibly) faded, which is normal for a 147 and it doesn't seem to have the original GTA-branded mats.
I am the current owner of the black147GTA. The car is being advertised on my behalf....mileage is now at 122700km ....I use the car daily....and its been to Chatz 2weeks back for a service....Johadre works on the car and according to him, cambelt is fiine...jus spent R11k on the service. ...including a new radiator hose n top engine mount. And I didnt get the GTA mats with the car.
Yess the boot badge was completely faded silver which I have replaced aswel as a new GTA badge which was missing a G...
Guys that 147 GTA will be sold for R50k...who's interested?
Guys in CPT...who cares to go check out the car for me please?
My intention is to buy and restore and then sell off again...so I'll make it completely stock engine, only add lowering kit and Koni's, Q2 and original 147 GTA wheels and spacers, fix up the body and then sell it on...also fix up the interior...I'm afrraid I'm going to keep it after that lol...but it will be for sale again.
Damn, I now again like the black GTA and yours has a sunroof...Just wrap it in glacier white!
