I became a daddy for the first time on Sunday evening!
Over the moon but so tired right now! My workdays normally run without breaks and not sleeping at all yesterday has hit me so hard. Growing a kid is going to be interesting   .

It will definately be a change obviously...but you'll do well, people will give advice by the 1000's but yall have to figure out what's what with your own child...so here's the 1st bit of advice 
Get those baby books that tells you exactly what's going to happen step by step every week with your baba...it really helps

Congrats ,Im also expecting any week and its also a girl,so I can imagine what you going through,Im also anticipating the sleepless nights but also the unmeasurable abundance of Joy that she will bring...everytime I think about it ,i just get so excited  !!!!

I am sure you shared the exiting news more than 3 weeks ago to be precise it was 2/15/2012 @ 8:50. So that is 4 week’s and you found out at that stage so you should probably ad a week or two.

Thanks, gents! Her name is Skylar and she was 50cm and 3.43kg. We had to go for a c-section after complications and for the first time since high school, I almost fainted while I was making the video of her coming out! My wife's a real trooper and it is amazing seeing her take to motherhood so naturally (bar the initial frustrations!).
Both mom and baby are fine and I've taken over many of the duties until mom's fully recovered. But the advice coming in! Jarre, conflicting doesn't even begin to describe it like Guili says. I dislike fluff around info, so we've invested in a couple of decent books beforehand.
For some reason, I also picked up a decent pair of Bonaldi boosters for pocket change on Tuesday! Great, tiring week!

LMAO I was meaning to say 3 months.
About 5 weeks ago she was 7 weeks pregnant.
End of the month we will be doing a sonar scan and hopefully we will be able to see if it is a boy or a girl.
