There is a black 147 GTA with no details, looks like it has been standing in a self storage by the look of the pictures.

The car is raised in the front, possibly indicating that the gearbox is missing.

Certain bits missing from the gumtree pics: Right front fog light, left rear reflector, front tow hook cover on bumper...

you need to give more details:
1. how long has it been standing without a gearbox
2. where has it been standing
3. has anyone taken care of it while it was not in use (doesn't look like it judging from the dust)
4. Reason for knackered gearbox
etc. etc.

the more detail the better

Its tempting but not at that price (taking into account the very little info you are giving)...

Its been standing for a year. Has proof of when it started standing.
Yes the paint looks like that becuase its been standing long. From what I can remember on our email correspondence he said its got full service history. I'm eager to buy but don't know if banks will finance a car that does not drive as it will need an AA certificate/RWC...

Dollen lol...Mate, if I was you I"d consider just getting a 2nd hand 2.5 box and installing it, making sure everything is fine and sell the car for R130-145k...it WILL sell then. Not many people have R90k CASH for a car that's not working. Finance will be an issue as they want to see a working car that must go through roadworthy.

Fix the car and sell it for more! When you do fix it let me know.

We all say fix it - THEN it will sell - most people will only buy a running car - I.e. they can get into the car and drive around the block - not just start it...
