SA Classifieds - For Sale or Wanted
Gents and hopefully ladies
Lets set some ground rules:
1. You can put up your "for sale" or "wanted" items here, but AO will not be involved other than facilitating.... no involvement in the financial transactions in other words.
2. I will look at the adds from time to time, clean up if needed, etc. If your Item is sold, it will be up to you to remove/edit the post.
3. No commercial ventures.... this is not a trade site. Items can only be "advertised" in a personal capacity.
4. Please do not use this as a chat thread. Use the Chat thread for that.

once again cleaning out my closet, found a few goodies that I would like to get rid of.
I had a major issue with my car stalling and I tried quite a few things which didn't solve the problem, eventually found out that it was the fuel pump, during this trying time I replaced the crank/rpm sensor, 2 minutes after replacing the sensor the car still stalled.
my old crank/rpm sensor still works fine so make me a decent offer and it yours.here's a pic of it.

also I replaced my clutch slave cylinder a few or 2 ago but before doing so I managed to source the rubbers that are on the inside of the cylinder(when these rubbers perish then you get the clutch stuck mode),I really wasn't in the mood to change the rubbers so I just bought a new cylinder...long story short, a few months ago I fitted the new rubbers to the cylinder but I didn't hone/cleanup the bore on the inside so the result is the piston gets stuck.I'll let it go for free to someone who wants a little task, as far as I know the clutch slave cylinder is the same for all twinspark motors.here's a pic

Mason the 8v motor was fitted into the 155 until 1996....I think... the 8v motor was basically the traditional Alfa motor, with a reworked head..... the major difference is that the ols style motor had chain driven cams.....ie no expensive cam belt services...no variator problems...should I continue or is the picture clear????

Hey purple, what is the resistance for that rpm/crank sensor? Reason for me asking is only because the different ecu's have different resistance values for that particular sensor. I should add, this is a fairly common fault on the twinspark motors.

Got it.... basically like the engines in the new 159.... all chain driven.

159iza, would Rob not be interested in selling his narrow body ? I know he was talking about it..... high kms, but well looked after, you should know.
Personally I would love any 155, but I would only really be happy with a V6 (Herr Schultz's car) . The 155 in the classifieds however is a peach, it is better than new, all the bits I would change from standard has already been done.
AND, Jacques is almost anal about his cars, his Giulia has won several concourses, his Giulietta is sweet.... the 155 is one of the best I know of.
