As mentioned already, sometimes they want you to buy the complete unit, whereas AR156 just wants the clip or something like that. Sometimes the guys breaking cars in the UK are more helpful and will be prepared to sell that small item for next to nothing.

yep my 147 is for sale and now for 75k with 86k kms on the clock...gearboxes are fine havent heard or rwad any issues about them hey,not like 3.0 gearboxes that explode at 7500rpm lol...buy my car do eeeeet,doeeeeet!

at the mo - 86000km's on the clock.
36000km's on the engine - engine replaced at 50 000km's coz owner damaged balance shaft don't know how, have slips proof everything.
New clutch 3 months ago at 83000km's
H&R susp.
doing cambelt service in 3 weeks
Full service history
Low km's
New wheels and Yoko rubber
Free flow custom powerflow exhaust
K&N panel filter to be installed soon

Think about it...you ALWAYS hear about Alfa's breaking from non-Alfa drivers. But when do you hear of BMW/VW/Audi/OPEL/TOYOTA breaking??? You don't, because their cars are fetched in the wee hours of the morning and loaded onto a truckbed...for a service.  Isn't it funny how they're cars go in for a SERVICE 5 times a year???

brendon...buddy,stay far away from the 2lt selespeed,they are VERY problematic and as you may know already,alfa parts aren't cheap.
