I notice the Spanish website km77.com has posted a "moose test" of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the 180hp RWD diesel with 18 inch wheels on non-sporty Pirelli P7 Cinturato.
It manages it very, very well at 78km/h, with very little body roll. Even at 82km/h it has about as much body roll as an BMW M2, while the M2 is dangerously tail-happy.
They have many other cars doing the same avoidance test, and the Giulia is better than even things like the new Audi TTS and the MX5.
They're not as excited about the basic brakes on this model, though they say it's good enough for the car it is.
