Quick one on badges

Guys, just a quick question on replacing badges.

Someone very kindly removed my front badge (when and where I've no idea, unless it fell off which I doubt) and I'm gonna get a new one for the front and replace the back one while I'm at it as it's a bit grungy altogether.

Two questions:

1. What do you use to glue/stick the front one on?
2. Is the back one difficult to take off/replace?

Thank you

The front one does come with one of those double sided sticky tapes attached to it, so it's basically just remove the old one, clean the glue residue and attach the new one.

It's registered 2000 and has the central console of a Phase 2, I remember checking the differences and it matches a phase 2?

Why do you saw it must be a phase one, out of curiosity?

And there you go a removal guide for the boot badge as well.

The Phase 2 bonnet badge is a hoor to remove. Phase 1 can be removed by prising the badge off the grill. Mine is a '99 Phase 2 and I had to remove the grill (3 screws) from the bonnet and then I ended up drilling the badge off as otherwise I would have had to remove 4 pop-rivets for the grill on the chrome surround.

I bought the badge on EB Spares for around £28. You can pick up a complete front grill including badge from around £45 on ebay or £60-70 on EB Spares/Ricambi Alfisti.

It's definitely a Ph2 going by this thread (GTV Phase 1 and Phase 2)

I've no idea how it came to be missing but it's gone, **** all glue stuff left just a big empty silver space. I assumed someone had swiped it, but it might have fallen off? I dunno

The OH noticed it last weekend!

There's two little clips holding the prongs of the badge onto the badge holder and then 'some' glue on the badge itself.
