10 years of 156 GTA

Having read this thread in the GTA section:

http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...uk-2012-a.html (156 GTA Ten Year Celebrations (UK) 2012)

I got me thinking, how many GTAs would be at an Irish 10 year celebration? [ 32 counties ] 20 max?

Would it be worth while trying to organise something?

I'd say you'd be better off joining Nigel and the lads Pat.

Good question!
I'm not a fan of taking cars off the road completely.
Can cause a lot of grief when you try to re-commission them.

Question:

Sir,
do you know of any events to celebrate the 156 GTA thats running in Rep of Irleand or N.I. ?

Thanks, Pat.

ANS:
Not to my knowledge Pat. We've only done some informal stuff over here. The Monza trip is probably a bit of a stretch for you guys I guess."

Hardly surprising really though is it, AFAIK there's only 5 or 6, maybe 7 GTA owners on AO Ireland.
How many GTAs have ever been to an AO meet , 3 max I'd say.

Well guys the nearest one to you which I am organising is probably " spring Alfa day" at Cotswold wildlife park.
If you boys want to jump on a boat and stay at Nigels (as he will be at spa)

Geez I don't know Pat.. that's a tough one, it's a bit like preferring blondes or brunettes... You know, if they are good looking, well then they are good looking!

Urban legend (although it could well be true) was that housewives in the UK looking to 'play away' would leave a box of it up in a window signifying Old Man Out (OMO) - ie the coast is clear....
That type of behaviour would never happen in Ireland though... would it???
