very very annoyed, more so because since kidney took over we dont have a back line or scrum. Have the players but nothing happening. Anyway well done George, I suppose there had to come a time when you would finally beat us

The old saying forwards win matches and the backs decide by how much kinda bore out yesterday.
Mark in fairness to England they've gone back to what they do best, 10 man game and beat you up. The conditions/our handling errors didn't help but I'm not sure we have an answer re the scrum.
The penalty try though possibly inevitable was harsh looking at the replay.
The scrum half's try was opportunistic but we kinda fell asleep.

Anyway, another year of what ifs.

PS looks like one of the English lads might be cited for biting Stephen Ferris....

I wasn't trying to rub it in, it's just that when I see a large figure, followed by a figure under 10, I think of cricket.

And yes, you beat us in the cricket world cup.

I almost went to the game, few friends at it alright, atmosphere was buzzing they said. English seemed up for it more than most of the Irish (Except for Donncha Ryan especially). Not enough places to play for on the Irish team unlike the English team. Will D'Arcy please hang up his international boots. Has been very poor. Heaslip has been outplayed by his opposite number in just about every game in the 6 nations. Carney really stepped up another level. No opposite full back will relish taking him on.

Hindsight is always a great thing but I wonder if O'Brien should have played at 8 allowing O'Mahony/Jennings to play at 7. I have to confess I'm a D'Arcy fan but am open to suggestion at inside centre once it's not Paddy Wallace!!! Kearney was outstanding at full back.
Reddan being taken off for O'Leary was not a good move-O'Leary really is off form.
