75 track day car invite

Hi lads,

This evening i have agreed to purchase of a 2.0 litre 75 for €350, thanks to Rob (Mysterio) for posting the advert. The intention is to set it up as a track car so I will be stripping it down. The engine needs very minor work I'm assured so it looks like a lot of car for the money.
This is where you lot come in. If anybody is interested in part ownership of this little venture your more than welcome, I've already done a project car with some fello AOers so know the ropes. you can build a lot of car for little money. The reason behind it is the 75 is last rear wheel drive Alfa so should be ideal for the track. So if your interested pm me and I'll give you more specific details.

well only one cylinder is firing so the remaining 6 sparks have to be replaced, will do them all

picked her up today so i'm now the happy owner of a 1991 75 genuine irish car. Was looking at her on the trailor today and she might be too nice to strip........

But this new addition to the stable means I'll probably have to get rid of one of the other two but I dont know which so I'll listen to offers but not sure yet if I'll sell

yeh I've seen that 164 paintwork, its quite bad too still i think our engines are the same, chain driven 8v 2.0 twinny

AH! I feel collective head scratcing coming on as to why they wont start/run properly! Been reading through a few posts and theyre a pretty bulletproof engine by all accounts. oh and I found a 155 8v service manual on a PDF here somewhere so should be handy.

its a 'non runner' yeah

I need a starter before I can even start checkin her out! she's turnin so no hassle there, still stuck a bit of lube down the bores to be safe, starter comp. test, spark, and fresh fuel and we'll see. Dave gave me a few parts with the car so I think I should get her firing!
