very similar to the old integrale wheel jim, but not sure about the big ronal turbo writing on them. How is the 33 coming along anyway?

Ahem, erm, its still in the garage... With its new wheels on put short Mark its not, what can I say I'm crap. Still have the engine to pull out of the 145 (for the 33) then need to get shot of the 145. Not gonna stip it completley anymore just take what I need and weigh the rest in, I did have a plan fothe 145 shell aswell but I have to be realistic!
Theres a 164 on the drive now also that needs mending, less work than the 33 (I think) so thats going to be first.

Did you get the niggles sorted on the imola?

`yeh she is nct passed, i replaced the fuel pump recently as the old one developed a very loud buzzing noise and was cutting out the engine, although the brand new pump ifitted makes the exact same noise so have a fule filter to fit, maybe its clogged and putting pressure on the pump

Could be a partial blockage restricting flow to the pump, I've had experience of vane pumps that get noisy when they cant 'pull' the fluid from the tank. mind you cars dont use vane pumps and the tank I'm thinking of wasnt on a car!

its still pumps moving liquid though, innit

yeah man, it cant pull the juice from the tank I reckon. Drain the tank and pull the hoses, run the pump on a tube into your drained petrol from a battery if its not noisy when running get your finger over the outlet end like a hosepipe to build up pressure. if its not noisy its ok. I reckkon there a load of crap in the tank clogging the outlet to the pump, If i'm wrong I'm just wrong

Two bolts will drop it down Mark. Refitting can be fiddly but a second pair of hands would make it a doddle.
