Injection or carbs? The 1350 is a great little engine on carbs so should be even better with the injection. I'm biased but I think they are very underrated car and good fun for the money. Are you looking for yourself or someone else? Don't pay to much attention to mine. It gets loads of abuse and no tlc unless something breaks (which only happens when damien organises a run )

It's this one
Alfa Romeo 33, 5 door hatchback for sale in Dublin: €1,350 - DoneDeal.ie
Given it's a 1994, I'm presuming it's injection. Does 'NO CAT' imply it may have issues with emissions on the NCT?
There was a pretty sweet red Cloverleaf 1.7 on e-bay UK but the reserve was just too high for me.

Mines a 92 and i think after 94 is when the tougher emissions came in so it should be ok. If the earlier limits apply, it basically needs to be running on 3 cylinders to fail. At that price it needs to be v.good. (it would be even better if he still had the CAT, just in case) Specifics on these are rust round the fuel filler, boot floor and fuel tank. Im on my second tank on the green 33 and Ive a black 94 16v (UK car) at home and the tank is a bit ropey on that too.
second gear synchro is a disaster and you can expect the gear change to be like stirring porridge.
That kind of money would get you a good 16v in the uk as s3 cars arent that sought after yet but the vrt is a killer.
Let me know if you need any info/advise. That car seems to be the same spec as mine excpet ive got carbs instead of injection.

Yep, am watching a 1.7 on e-bay, but this 'minimum VRT' is a *****....can the 'minimum VRT' be appealed?

Dont know if it can or not. I considered bringing in my black 16v but they wanted €750 for the privilage. I only paid 500 for the car so i took out the recaro seats and am using it as a parts car.

Glenroyal in Maynooth!
Rates | Accommodation | Glenroyal Hotel
(They may be doing specials at the moment)
If there's a few staying in Maynooth, then me and Gav and whoever else can get a lift/taxi over to Naas and then share one back as well.

And if you have no luck in Time night Club in the Osprey, the Glenroyal has a great cattle market now that the students are back!
