Re: South of Ireland remap

Do Angel Tuning only use maps from Red Dot?
Do they only offer one map per model of vehicle?
Can't they make a custom map to my own requirements for my 156?
Any help greatly appreciated please.

Re: South of Ireland remap

Emailed Jano again today. Basically asked if he'd come over or not... At this stage we'd probably get 10 cars alright.

Re: South of Ireland remap

Thanks but why would a company the size of Angel Tuning use maps from Red Dot? Do you know for a fact that they use there maps as Red Dot say they don't do maps for anyone else after I contacted them! A friend of mine in Belfast had his Fabia vRS done by Angel and they basically worked with him to get the best end result. They altered the mapping accordingly for him to try so surely this is bespoke custom mapping? I'm confused

Re: South of Ireland remap

Does anyone know whether a remap for the 2.5 V6 is likely to make any difference ?

I know the remap would have a much bigger impact on the JTS and any turbo's but how about the old V6 (in a 99 166, BTW)

Re: South of Ireland remap

looking at 10% max bhp increase for any n/a car (map only)

so 15bhp for a 2l TS and maybe 25bhp for a v6 (this is MAX)

100% angel used other maps up till very recently (99% sure it was red dot and they still only do that map)

Re: South of Ireland remap

Gentlemens can you tell me how are the things?
To be honest with you I dont want to drive to London to autodelta- to many miles and the ferries as well. Ofc it will be gr8 if somebody from them will arrive to maybe Cork or somewhere and they will do it there.
I will prefer to use autodelta but if it will be some problems I can use angel tuning but I will want to make the remap before second half of august.

Just let me know how is the progress and what date are we setting up to do that?

Thanks

Regards

Hi Folks,

I'm the guilty party re the non-returning of Paul's calls from Monday and Tuesday. Suffice to say I only wish my 159 was my only concern right now, and I simply didn't get a chance to return his call - I did send him a quick email this morning saying I got his messages.

I'll be giving him a call within the next few minutes and report back.
