Re: South of Ireland remap

Would love to tinker with my 2.4 Jtdm 210bhp. Should be able to achieve 250bhp but more importantly improve on the 31mpg figure. Building a house extension at the mo so money a little tight but keep me posted on options

Re: South of Ireland remap

If it is still actual please also add me to the list.

And can you tell me where we can meet to do this??

Also I spoke with somebody from angel tuning in last week and he told me the price of 250 pounds only for 1,6 TS.
So I hope when it will be more that 10 cars it will cost around 200-250 but euro.

Re: South of Ireland remap

Would be very interested.

My 08 159 2.4 (210) might be too new to have the software available. Would be interested if I got a reply back saying they could do my car and I was happy with the advised improvements.

Oh, one other thing - how would this affect warranty?

BTW, location wouldn't really bother me - I like to drive!

I think after that your warranty can be gone because this is engine modification unless when you need you will changed it to the old settings.

I remember my friend has got a warranty problem after instaled a K&N air intake. So he took it off and with some problems they accept it.

Re: South of Ireland remap

they cant detect ( or at least prove) a remap - so your fine.

K&N is a bit more cut and dried

Wow voiding a warranty by installing a KandN is very extreme!

Re: South of Ireland remap

Ya they're obvious alright but you'd want to be a lousy dealer to use it as something to void a warranty!

Re: South of Ireland remap

I sent a query email to Angel to see if they remap 159 2.4s and got a response from Paul Winston.

Basically he said he's in France working at the minute, and will be back by the 28th. He's looking for details of cars and he'll work out a "super deal" for us.

He's looking for numbers and car details - I don't want to double on submissions (he might start thinking christmas has come early) to Paul. So, just so ye know he's interested.

Re: South of Ireland remap

as far as i was concerned angel undertake generic maps for cars, seems to be confirmed by their pricing which is based purely pn the engine cc only and not per marque / model
