Paul Street car park, I'd paid for my ticket & was driving out when I saw it, I had to do another loop to see it again . It's still a stunning car but isn't on it's original wheels anymore.

I also saw it in Lee Garage when it was for sale, the sales guy left me sit in and start it up Needless to say

Re: The Sightings Thread

I see a lot of Alfa's everyday, most of them are driven by the females See a red 147 near me on the Airport hill regularly and he is always checking my 147 out at the same time, must swerve the next time and see if he frequents here !!

Agreed, It's hard to beat most of the O.E.M Alfa Alloys.
The GTA alloys are a b*****d not to curb though as the tyre does not protect them at all, I think a few of the alloys were fairly damaged when i saw the car in Lee Garage

He He He , i think i might have just washed it about then!!!!!!
I see a fair few alfas to and from work every day and i am in 2 minds whether to wave at em ( but they might thinking there is a mad man in an alfa waving at me ... what an egit!!) or flash my lights just to say hi....
What we should all decide on, is what would be an appropriate method of acknowledging other alfaowner.com members on the road... the floor is now open.........

Re: The Sightings Thread

Flashing lights is probably best as if the oncoming person is from Alfaowner then cool if not then you can pretend you flashed someone else!!!

Re: The Sightings Thread

I'd actually vote for a wave instead of a flash. I prefer a discrete acknowledgement instead of every1 possibly thinking you look like an idiot flashing every alfa you see... A drive near Glanmire (seems like lotta alfas there cause of grandons possibly) and you would be driving like a lunatic flashing every 30 seconds

That wasn't a problem for me, your car was parked outside the old Aldi & I was on foot so I didn't flash

I agree a quick flash seems to always do the trick!!
Senario... alfaowner.com member spots another alfa, gives em a prolonged 2 sec flash, if the oncoming alfa is a member they respond with a quick 2 flash. It would be interesting actually how many alfa owners out there who know about this forum!!!!

Re: The Sightings Thread

I've just removed the big Red " Black spot " from my rear windscreen and now a suggestion to put stickers on the front!

Is there a small "AO" sticker ?? Or maybe a tax/insurance holder from AO????

Re: The Sightings Thread

I was seriously thinking of putting it in front of the rear view mirror then it wouldn't even be a distraction.

I might print off a paper one first to see how it looks
