Undertaking in bus lanes

I was driving through High Wycombe last night, I was doing 30mph in a 30 limit and some dick in a Ford Ka decided I wasn't going fast enough and used the bus lane to undertake me.

Since when has that sort of driving been acceptable?

It was also dark and raining, so road conditions were far from ideal, and wher are the Police when you need them?

If it's where I think you mean, I don't think it's a full time bus lane.

Still does not excuse undertaking at over the speed limit

That ****es me off to no end, when i pick my missus up from work and sat in traffic there is always one bell end in a bmw / audi who thinks he is too important to wait and undertakes everyone in the bus lane. Funnny thing is when nobody lets them merge back in and they end up further back than before.

A couple of weeks back a 306 cane flying up behind me and undertaken on a slip road to a junction on the m6, funnily enough traffic cops seen him and gave him a tug. Made me chuckle all the way home.

It was the A40 between Loudwater and High Wycombe.

Yeah thats not a full time bus lane, but still no excuse for undertaking.

Good on you for sticking to the limit though - I don't know why but thats a hard road to stick to 30mph on when it is quiet around.

Police like to sit on that road - just bad luck they weren't there!

Thing is it was dark, and I didn't know the road and whether there were cameras about.

I might have seen the signs in daylight saying the bus lane was only part time.

There seems to be a lot of idiocy on the roads these days unfortunately.

I'm sure the idiot who did that to you will get his/her comeuppance one day!

Unfortunately people like that don't and end up hurting innocent people, perhaps we should be more strict on who we let loose on our roads.

I was sat in traffic this morning on a single lane road, some pos in a focus mounted the pavement to undertake and pushed infront of me. I was at the point of getting out of the car to confront them if my missus hadnt stopped me.

Presumably you weren't keeping as closed up in the queue as he thought you should be. I far prefer to keep moving slowly even if a gap does open up but I know it can annoy the boy racer who wants to be pushing on all the time.
