I have. Rain, bad driving, high taxes, people thinking that complaining is a good way to get a discount, getting old, crime on the streets, disrespect, IT support dummies asking if I have rebooted my PC, cyclists, pedestrians, dealers and independent garages, my landlord, boss, environmentalists, racism and stupidity, two faced liars, idiot who stuck screwdriver through my to get €10 phone holder...

The trouble with the 'rant room' is that it can, from time to time, indulge a following of 'anti ranters' who enjoy taking the rant far too seriously.............before you know it, it's been blown out of all proportion, taken out of all context, and has lost it's (often originally intended, underneath the initial fury) fun eliment.
Seems it's not allowed to rant these days........even here................what ever is AO becoming

I read it as a light-hearted 'rant' with no malign intent - and it made me laugh (sounded like one of my own to be honest). I also thought the 'protest' comment was a jokey response in a similar vein.
Don't worry about it.
