Side road rules ??

Is it just the way i've been brought up ???

Side road...two lanes when exiting.

If you're turning to the left,WTF do cars, especially vans or 4x4s,who are turning right block your f**king view ??

Move back just a few feet and don't be so f**fin selfish !!!!!

:hhmmm: Surely the vehicle turning right needs to be as far forward as possible to ensure good visibility down the road they are turning into, maybe a little patience is called for or even leaving a little earlier to allow for little delays.

What a totally ridiculous, mild mannered, traffic friendly arguement

You might be correct though

...or perhaps, whoever has got to the junction first, could be allowed to exit first.

I know that if i'm exiting right which is harder to do and i can see that a left turner can do it safely...i'll move back slightly to allow them to see up the road...or am i just a mug ????

I watched a left turning car just in front of me with a free road have to wait as a right turning huge 4x4 pulled into her free view....i was nearly getting out...thank ****** it wasn't me he obstructed !!!!

There's no excuse for it....pure selfishness !!!!

unfortunately most drivers are not courteous and lack the forward planning skills to be a good driver. I would normally if in a high sided vehicle hold back to allow the driver turning left to have a clear field of vision before pulling beside them. I would never pull back once at the line though as this could create other issues.

I hate this too. This is very commen in Aberdeen. I believe whoever is there first should have the view.

I am the ONLY person in Aberdeen that lines myself up so i look behind the waiting car and the waiting car has an unobstructed view.

If someone pulls into my view i crawl as far over the line as I dare and try to completely block off the view. I am close to starting to give these people the finger as i do so.
