The doris has done it again!
The doris has done it again She's gone to see friend for a week and took the GTA on sat morning. Sunday night I get a call.
"Um the GTA is making a funny noise Knocks when you go over bumps..... Is it ok? Is it safe to drive ? Now 4 things here annoy me here.
1. She has broken the car yet again.
2. SHe has phoned me knowing full well she won't be home till next sunday and that I can't go look at it.
3. Of course they'll use my car all week with the problem when her friends have a perfectly good bag o ****e L200 to drive and could happily use that .
4. I'm supposed to diagnose it over the phone
I know it's probably the upper wishbones but they were silent when she left so I imagine she's been driving over speed bumps and hitting pot holes at 100mph again. This time she's paying half the money to repair it as I'm getting tired of her just using my cars while her's still sits on the drive with Tax as it has done for the past 6 month the lazy Not that she knows this yet. I'm angry but at the same time I've just given up with her **** taking

This is discraceful, Jossy! You need to hide your keys in future, young man
Why doesn't she drive her own car?

It all boils down to the fact that she is Lazy with a capital L. Why drive and pay for your car when you can drive another for free. She even has the cheek to whinge if I don't leave any fuel in it ,. Even though she always does it to me The car in question is her 206 GTI. Now remember when we bought the spider in march 2010.... That's right the pug was supposed to be sold then but it just sat there and never got sold even though I hassled. Now we've sold the spider it is still sat there... doing nothing. How do you motivate a bone idle loved one
And no AL I'm not burning the house down....

I couldn't help but chuckle that she expects you to put fuel in it also!
Oh, and maybe I could have a go in it as being so supportive?

ebay the 206, no revs, start list at 1p. That'll teach her, and use the money to sort the GTA.

I've threatened that but at the end of the day it's not my car to sell and I'm taking the moral high ground.

Why don't you drive over with one of your other cars and collect the GTA? That way, she can relax and enjoy her week and you can have a look to see what the problem is.

Joss, you need to sort this situation out fast!
I don't like MrsM even getting into the GTA (she often catches the skirt with her shoes and 'drops' down into the seat.........I'd never even contemplate letting her drive it!!
