There's a big roundabout near where I work, with one lane through the middle to go straight on - to save explaining, it's
this one.
I come in from either the West or the North and some of the idiotic manoeuvres I see there pretty much every day are staggering.
Staying in the left lane of three and missing two exits to take the third or even fourth isn't uncommon.
Setting off from one of the sets of lights and veering between two or three lanes is almost a daily occurrence.
Trying to turn right onto the road that goes through the middle is one of the slightly more rare ones, but it happens regularly.
And then there's the people that completely miss the traffic lights altogether and go straight through - I saw a van narrowly miss an accident with a Micra a couple of days ago because the Micra went through on red. Thankfully the van driver had only just pulled off from another set of lights so he had time to stop.
I don't think the road markings are particularly confusing, as long as you know where you want to be going. Take a look - zoom in on that satellite image and they're pretty clear.
It beggars belief sometimes.
