Re: Nice day for a change or not!

A cloud of thingies spent ten minutes erupting from my back lawn this morning, don't know what they are and although the Blackbirds loved 'em I didn't. Back in the house, close the doors and stopped both itching and cooking.

Must remember to tell next door that he may have a wasps nest in his loft, saw loads of the 'orrible things buzzing around a crack in his tiles and then crawling in.

I really love summer when you can enjoy the healthy outdoors.

Hot and sultry here at the moment, with quite a few airborn 'nibblers' about.: Have the Boots ceramic hotplate and anti-mozzie tablets at the ready, to zap the pesky blighters!

I no what you mean but these warm days are getting few and far between. You should tell your neighbour sharpish else they might move over your side of the fence or get a few in your car on the way to work. Whats happened to the global warming? It seams we have milder winter and cooler than normal summers with lots of rain. Wonder if we can do a swap for cold winters and hot summers like it used to be?

Thunderflies are the bain of my existence at the moment. Cant be outside for more than a few minutes without hundreds of them attaching themselves to me. Oh, and i think its about time for the flying ants to appear too so more joy for those of us that enjoy the outdoors.

Never fear we rarly get more than 2 or 3 days sun at a time so that should help get rid of the little blighters.
