Stupid Van Drivers

I was driving home today from Taunton on a dual carriageway and I could see the bit where the dual bit converges in to one road approaching and a van was zooming up behind me, so I pulled in behind a small lorry in front of me but the van still shot on but not fast enough to clear both me and the lorry in front of me in time.

So I put the breaks on enough to leave a large gap between me and the lorry because I could see what was going to happen next. The van driver s**t himself realising the converging road and he shot in infront of me and almost went up the back end of the lorry in front of me.

Just thinking what could have happened if I hadn't seen that coming makes me shudder.

IF there hadnt been a gap he probably would have veered the other way into the barrier.

So, did you do the right thing?

What a to55er! Still if he didn't know the road he could be excused but then maybe he shouldn't be driving like that it he didn't know the area.

Yeh sorry...didn't mean to generalise there...van drivers do have a bit of a reputation for being bad drivers though.
