Re: Dinged a BM

A BM driver laughed at my wife tonight, because he obviously though that that his shiny new 5 series was in some way superior to our R reg 164 (with its poor silver paint work, and one different coloured mirror).

An arrogant 20-something tosser !!! She was quite upset, and lectured our children, on the need to judge people not on what they own, but by what they do \ say. I was fuming....why do people have to be so horrible ?

I wanted to go outside and shout out: "I've actually got three cars, which I own outright, earn loads of money, and nearly own my own home".

Silly (and superficial), I know, but I was really annoyed !!

Cars....can't stand the things !!!

I have a BMW. I don't laugh at 164's!

I find Audi pilots to be far worse.

I've used chips away twice..........the guy local to me is absolutely brilliant. He's sorted a couple of cars for me and the repair are invisible in any light.

So if your chap does the same then Mr BMW should be well happy.........

My local bloke charges £50 a panel...... plus vat.......

Cheers To All

Re: Dinged a BM

Hurray!!! Got the official let off today. It's all done and as good as new (Chips away in Reading )

No bill just a 'you owe me one' which is very nice.

Apparently she never told her husband that she knew who did it. So although he went mad at her, officially there's no one to give the bill to.

Re: Dinged a BM

I must confess I once reveresed into a corsa that was parked in a "no parking at ANY time" bit of the road and didn't tell the owner. -1 Karma for me.

Well if they shouldn't have been parked there it can't be your fault.
