Maybe when Keanos legs were beginning to fail. Although he still used to give Gerrard a lesson in midfield play twice a year. And until the Scholes-Carrick partnership showed what it could do.

I'm speaking from experience. I got really tempted 5 or 6 years ago in much the same way as you. We never even held hands but for a while the whole thing simmered and could easily have boiled over. Tempting for sure but I stepped back. Shortly after MrsJim got pregnant for the fifth time and we had our first child (you've met Thomas). I still think it was my reward from God and I'm not a terribly religious person.

Tread carefully my friend. Try and spend some time reminding yourself why you fell in love with MrsAl. Do something nice for her - she might appreciate a gentle romantic gesture while she feels all big and unattractive and under threat from nursey .

already got to the cards-on-table stage a couple of weeks ago jimster and no, i wasn't misreading the signals i'm afraid. would've been easier if i had been but alas no, she's had a crush on me for the last 2 years
