At £58 i think it will be the bearing already in the hub and looking at diagrams it should be no more difficult than the rear. In a recent thread people are using a 36mm impact socket from halfords as it needs to be thin walled and i think the cost is around £13.
You will still need a press to remove the drive flange from the inner bearing race.
I have a new in the box genuine Alfa bearing for sale, it was bought for a 2000 twin spark, not sure if it will fit your v6, its part number 0060671437 Pm if your interested
