Which version of the 156 do you think looks better? This includes estate, sorry sportwagon versions.

early, no late, no early, no late,early, late................erm, er, I can't decide.

Used to think early - I had one, (the interior facelift, colour coded body trim, mirrors one), but I like the later ones too now but at a push the earlier models look purer in design and they are the only ones with V6's

The later ones like nicer than the 'original' 156, with the black bits of body trim etc, however the GTA looks nicer than the facelift IMO, and is the quintessential 156.

My one!!

Can't you add more options? I would vote for the interior facelift, as I like my body coded mirrors, front skirt and bumpers. No black plastic here!

The original for me. The 156 didn't need a facelift. the original design didn't look dated and would have been fine right up until it was replaced by the 159 IMO.

I was thinking of the exterior styling of the cooking versions, not the GTA, as the GTA is the earlier style and most would argue that it looks best.

When I had my 156 (original version) I thought the facelift was an improvement but now in hindsight it just seems to be a stepping stone to the 159 design and somehow just doesnt fit. The original design seems to be the more classic and elegant of the two and will stand the test of tiume better (IMHO)

I like the grille of the facelift but I hate the headlights (same for the 147). The original is still the best...but then I'm biased
