Is the Alfa GT a woman's car?
Well, since getting my GT a couple of weeks ago I've seen a number of comments on here suggesting it's a woman's car. Ridiculous! Well, I hope so, as I aint a lass.
So, to all those who own a GT (or are the primary driver of one), are you male or female? I hardly see any GTs on the road, but I don't recall ever seeing one driven by a woman.
For those that don't own or drive a GT, do you think it's a man's or woman's car? Or, like me, had you not even thought of it as either!
This is the first poll I've posted so fingers crossed I get the options right....

It's either even though my wife own's ours. The 3.2 certainly isn't though (if driven with spirit)

Re: Is the Alfa GT a woman's car?
What is all the rubbish about whether various Alfa Romeos are Women's cars...Alfa Romeo are for everyone not just for the 'small' number of insecure, inadequate males amongst us...

Re: Is the Alfa GT a woman's car?
Funnily enough I spotted a 1.9 JTD GT outside my missus' parents neighbours house tonight and though 'That is one mean assed looking car.'.
If anything I would say it was a blokes car. It is too big to be classed as a girls car.
There has been a similar thread regarding the 147, to which I also said was not a girls car, so the GT is DEFINITELY not!

Re: Is the Alfa GT a woman's car?
I can't see it as a "Womens Car" I've only seen one in the flesh/steel and that was a GT Blackline.........
Usually cars classed as "Womens Cars" are pretty cars with no substance, or hairdressers cars. I'd heard it said about MR2's as well, but my Brother has a 2.0 MR2 and I think it feels alot faster than my 2.5V6, aint no camp hairdresser driving that one
I really believe its a label given to cars that are desirable by people who lack the imagination to own one..........
Anyway if it puts you off ownership give it to me, 'Cos I'd be happy in it.

I'm not overly fond of them; much prefer the Brera.

Re: Is the Alfa GT a woman's car?
Definately a car for either sex. As for the 3.2V6 - it's got a real Alfa engine unlike the Brera & I'd love one. Pity I probably couldn't afford to run it!

Re: Is the Alfa GT a woman's car?
Any car is a woman's car - GT included. Around here it seems to be 2-1 male to female ratio tho'
