Re: Sunglasses

Got me a nice pair of Bolle sunglasses from eBay for about a tenth of what they cost in the shops. Really want a pair of Bolle Limits but I can't afford £100 when I'm worried about my rear bushes, lol...

My head is having difficulty getting round that - and I bet they're not the most expensive.

Lordy! I'm going to be going on about that all day now!
£175 is a good price for them on ebay, that was about €275 last year. The cheapest i could find them in a shop was €400 so a saving of €125

They're the 2nd most expensive, the polarized adds a few quid to the price but it's definately worth it, also the lenses can be replaced if they get badly scratched so as long as I don't loose them they should last for years

Re: Sunglasses

The way to get cool (read: expensive) designer
sunglasses is to get the optician to put prescription
lenses in 'em and bill the lot as "lenses" to the
health insurance.
Then you can get a new pair of 500 Euro sunglasses/
lenses every 18 months or so.

Although the price didn't reflect the design! Not as much as what a lot of people here have paid though! From memory about £120

Re: Sunglasses

I thought £15 from next was expensive ... do you guys really have that sort of money to waste on sun glasses ... I have this great device that works in both winter and summer and automatically adjusts to allow just the correct amount of light into my eye's I think the technical term for them are pupils, I believe they were fitted at birth, didn't realise they were an optional extra ...

France, not fiddling.
Complementary cover is quite hefty.
(State cover is about 70 Euros total)

Yes you can. The only caveat is curved
lenses like Oakleys etc.

I've even got a pair of plastic prescription
RBs with mirror lenses for skiing.

They don't block UV and you're leaving yourself
open for cataracts later in life without sunnies.
You don't need expensive ones. They are an affectation.
