What car to get for my wife?

It's soon going to be time to get a new car in the family. I have a lovely 156 but my wife has a rather tired ford mundano and it's this which will get replaced.

The question is what do we get? We have three children so no silly suggestions of 2 seater sports cars.

How old are the kids? I am afraid the 147 at the back is not great for three adult-sized people.

If they are still young, I'd definitely go for a 5 door 147

But it is practical and enough room for kids in back

if the lady likes a 147...the lady shall have a 147...don't muck about dude...keep her happy

I do my best to keep her happy (she regularly borrows the 156 )

The kids are 14, 12 and 2. But it is fairly rare that we all go out in one car and I'm assuming the 156 is a tiny bit bigger in the back.

yes, the 156 is bigger.....i also have 3 wonderful little....shall i say kids...always had the whim to stick one in the boot if they get out of line..thus solving the problem...(only joking here!)

I always think of getting a limo type glass screen fitted so I don't have to listen to them bickering!

ah sheer bliss...when they are really young there is another method...its called CALPOL !!

I voted 147 .....but if it's more practicality you need get a Multipla....seriously Not as huge as Galaxy/Espace, not as common as Senic/Zafira and it's Italian

strange that, she suggested that some time ago. I never liked the looks but the interior and space is good.

I'm just having to sell the Multipla JTD, (I wanted to keep it) after buying dear lady a GT JTD. She doesn't drive, and I was sort of hoping she might not notice.

Get a GTV or GT. If you go out with the kids you can always use the 156

since your wife fancy the 147 what better excuse you need to buy one...

or the 156 SW, that would fit the kids just fine.
