Autodelta Modified?

I keep on visiting the Autodelta web-site and thinking about getting my GTVs engine turbo-charged by them, but the reality of my bank balance hits home

Anyway, I was just wondering how many people here have had their cars modified by Autodelta, and if you have please post what was done and what your impressions are.

Re: Autodelta Modified?

Had my original 156 modded by them (1.8 veloce) exhaust, induction and remap....

Process was painless - apart form paying for it of course ;-)

Mods worked well together power and torque noticably up drivability much better with mid range pickup being much better - It was faster than a mates 2.0....

Only thing I missed was a before/after run on a RR to show you quantitatively what you got for your cash - versus qualitatively ...

I'd think about gettign Brera remapped by them....

Did you get an 'after' RR session done though, and if so what was the power output?

Re: Autodelta Modified?

I have a remapped ECU on my 156 2.0TS. I removed the ECU, had a friend who visited Autodelta carried it to be remapped, and brought it back in no time. Very straight forward process. The car has more low-end torque and it's easier driving around town. :-)

Re: Autodelta Modified?

I've had my RZ remapped - it's not enormously different, but gives a bit more mid-range. I've also got a de-catted stainless steel exhaust from them, and upgraded brakes. In honesty, the brakes probably make the biggest difference to how the car drives.

Re: Autodelta Modified?

my exhaust is in its last death throws so may replace it with their stainless steel one, also may get their spring/damper set

Nope never did - that's what my point was Jano doesn't RR cars he believes in the driveabiity improvement - i.e. a qualitative approach....

Re: Autodelta Modified?

The GTV has an Autodelta exhaust and excellent quality it is too. Only prob. is that none of the local K*ik-F*t type places will look at if you have probs. Mine got cuffed by a badger (a now very sorry badger, poor thing) which dislodged the heat shield. It now rattles away sounding very embarrasing and I'm too far away to take it to Jano.
