It's a machine that enables me to write without corretion fluid, print letters in colour, use the internet and log on to the forum

1 brand new HP centrino laptop, 1 old banged up Compaq laptop for storage and a Dell desktop to use up every square inch of my former dining table

Fuji laptop that weighs 2 tonnes, runs a 2.8 P4 - anything more than just web browsing, such as music playing and especially gaming it gets so so hot I think one day I will burns my hands on it - runs fine though

btw, took someones PC apart the othre day to find an old old cyrix inside - hadnt seen one of them for about 8 years since I built my first PC

I simply have no idea.

A bitsa on a Mesh frame with an ancient Athlon 900 processor. The graphics card is so crap I'm even using a 600*800 display otherwise the screen flickers
But I've got a Microsoft Elite keyboard with Bluetooth

Ok, this one is a PC, AMD based, built by my own fair hands.

It's Mac for me. Always been, always will.

Curently running on IBM laptop, but the next one has to be a powerbook. I think I fall in love in mac design and the ease of use of it.

I've got 4 desktops at home - 2 for my kids, 1 for my wife and my own (pic below) all I built myself - it is very easy once you've done one !

Also use an old IBM P3 machine linked to my hifi to play all my mp3's

For AO, it would be the one at work (IBM ThinkCentre).


At home, I have an old Advent (PC World special ), running a 450MHz Intel Pentium III, and a hand-built PC running a 1.7GHz Intel Celeron (components from Dabs.com).

Oh yes, I also have an ancient Fujitsu laptop running a Pentium I , and an Apple Mac LC475.

Never use anything other than a Pentium. Still the most reliable non Mac processor there is. I blooody hate Bill Gates and Microsoft and anything PC but I can't afford a forking Mac so build my own PC's making sure I select the best there is and never pay for anything with the Microsoft label.

Erm... you need to take one off the mac list and add it to the AMD from a shop list. I had a slight clicking error.

Have you looked at the Mac Mini?

I am almost sure that it's AMD built by our own hands
